Small Groups are an integral part of the life and health of Bethany Christian Centre.

God has designed us humans to be in relationship with each other, to need care and support, to enjoy friendship and to be blessed by caring for each other.

Bethany’s Small Groups are designed to help us enjoy being part of a caring church community that values others and acknowledges Jesus as Lord.

By coming together in small groups we can show the practical reality of our faith in Jesus as we pray, study, worship & benefit the lives of others.

We meet on different days and evenings during the week in small groups for fellowship, Bible study and pastoral care, the venues and the practical arrangements are worked out by the group leaders.

Seven key reasons why YOU should be a part of a small group at Bethany:

1. A small group helps you study the Bible and learn more about the Christian faith.

2. A small group is the best place to get to know people.

3. A small group is the best place to grow as a follower of Jesus.

4. A small group is a great place to find love and support when times get bumpy.

5. A small group is a great place to bring your friends, relatives, and work associates so they too can
find out what it means to be a follower of Christ and grow.

6. A small group is a great place to develop your skills and gifts as you contribute in the group.

7. Being part of a small group is the New Testament pattern.

"My small group is a place where people care and pray for each other and grow in their knowledge of God."

"My small group is a place to share, discuss, laugh and question in an accepting, loving Christian setting."

"I have found that the larger the Church becomes, the more important small groups become. Without my small group I would feel lost and alone.”
