COMMITMENT
We are committed to Jesus Christ as our Saviour. We follow the teaching of the Bible for living. We seek to fulfil our obligations at home with our families, at work with our colleagues, in the world as citizens and as members of Bethany Christian Centre.

ACCOUNTABILITY
In living our lives according to the Bible we seek to respond to its teaching, rebuking, correcting and training. We therefore take responsibility for our own words and actions. We welcome the friendship and contribution of other people in our lives. We accept that we are ultimately responsible and accountable to God.

All people matter to God and therefore matter to us. We welcome and include all people, of all ages, all races and all abilities.

We are honest, so we speak the truth. We are reliable, so we are dependable. We are genuine, so we are authentic. We are trustworthy so we can be trusted.

We do not think more highly of ourselves than we ought to. We value ourselves and others as individuals made in God’s image. We seek to Contact, Assist, Relate and Encourage others.

OPPORTUNITY
We provide through worship, teaching, groups, programmes and relationships opportunities for learning, training, personal development and friendship.

SERVICE
We steward our time, gifts and resources at home, at work, in the world and through church life and programmes to serve God and others.
